JACKSON GRIFFITH

Originally a road racer Jackson soon got bored with the tarmac and medals of big city Marathons despite a blistering personal record of 2 hours 53 minutes. So he turned his hand to the notorious 150 mile Marathon des Sables in the Sahara desert followed by a daring solo effort at the 110 mile Jordan Desert Cup across the precarious wadi and mountains of the Middle East.

Jackson will be taking on the epic Spartathlon in October 2005, attempting to run the treacherous 153 Miles from the Greek capital of Athens to the military township of Sparta, non-stop !

Jackson is cheered on by his 2 energetic young sons.
